2018 is booked out, unfortunately. We will charter the same vessel in 2019.
The crew onboard the Bark Europe will give you all the training you need!
This is where the vessel departs from, and you can join us on our optional Patagonia Exploration
The crossing of the Drake Passage is approximately 450 Nautical Miles on Cape Horn.
The Shetland islands lie about 120 kilometres north of the Antarctica Peninsula.
Join Quest Tours in the summer of 2019 onboard the Bark Europa as she sails to the Antarctic Peninsula.
This voyage suits sailing enthusiasts, birdwatchers, photographers, artists and nature lovers who want to discover and explore a truly remote, untouched environment.
The Bark Europa a sail training ship and as such, everybody will be mustered as voyage crew. This means our guests take part in a watch system and will actively participate in sailing the ship, steering and being on lookout.
When we are in Antarctica the watch system is for permanent crew only and guests can do volunteer night watches (very nice, no people and midnight sunshine with nature). During the day we sail to new places and go on shore with the zodiacs. Your professional guides will tell you all of what can be expected.
The 2018 tour is full, but we will charter the same boat again for the same passage in 2019. Bookings will close as of the 1st of July, 2017, so don't delay. Secure your space via this booking form.
