The visibility can seem endless - reaching up to 50m!
Currents (we love currents) can be strong, these currents bring with them, all the predators, Sharks, Barracuda, Jacks, Tuna and Giant Trevally (GTs)
Even on non-current dives expect to see Sharks, Manta Rays, schools of Jacks, Giant Maori Wrasse, with the whole ocean surrounding Palau, just teaming with fish-life!
Palau was the first in the world to declare its entire exclusive economic zone a sanctuary for sharks!
Palau’s Shark Haven Act has since set forth a profound shift in the global effort to protect marine biodiversity, starting a tsunami of conservation that has since grown to 17 shark sanctuaries
